After many repeated reports and rumors, now some insiders are sharing an exclusive image from the storyboard of Brave New World. In the ‘so-called’ leaked image, we can clearly see our Sam Wilson Captain America, who is standing against Red Hulk.

In first sight, it feels like both of them are ready to face each other in a deadly battle, however, Sam Wilson’s Captain America is not strong enough to engage in a battle with this ‘rage-monster’.

We knows that Steve Roger’s Captain was filled with super serum, hence, he was capable enough to stop some of the most deadliest fights of the planet, but Sam on the other hand is just a normal human, with the shield of our Steve. So if he will try to engage in a fight with these types of monsters, then it is just a matter of seconds before he invites his own death.

Now as per our very own sources, we should take this image with a grain of salt, and that’s because anything is possible nowadays. Spider-Man cameo rumors

We have no idea when Spider-Man 4 hits theaters, but 2025 seems to be the safest bet right now. It’s not just the ongoing writers’ strike that might prevent an earlier release. There’s also Marvel’s interest in improving the quality of MCU projects. And that means delaying some titles, both on Disney Plus and in theaters. Add to that Tom Holland’s announcement that he’s taking a year off from acting, and you get the perfect storm. That is, Spider-Man 4 could see delays beyond what we had expected.

However, I will remind you that Sony and Disney inked a Spider-Man deal that covered two MCU projects. One was No Way Home, which premiered in mid-December 2021. The other one was an unannounced MCU title.

There’s been a lot of speculation on the latter, with some rumors saying that Daredevil: Born Again might be the place where Peter Parker shows up. That’s because the upcoming Daredevil TV show tie right into Spider-Man 4. Rumors say that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will join Peter Parker in the upcoming sequel.

That said, having Spider-Man appear in an MCU movie rather than a TV show makes a lot of sense. Especially in Captain America 4, where Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) will form a new Avengers team.

For a long time it seemed like Louis Letterrier’s The Incredible Hulk was a forgotten chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the canon has been embracing it more and more as of late. Tim Roth’s Emil Blonsky a.k.a. Abomination returned in both Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings and She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, and now Tim Blake Nelson is set to come back as Samuel Sterns a.k.a. The Leader in Captain America: Brave New World (another part confirmed at D23 Expo 2022). When we last saw Sterns in the MCU, his head was bubbling after a wound was exposed to Hulk blood – but we have no idea what the character has been up to for the last decade.

Did someone just leak the Spider-Man cameo in Captain America 4?

Why am I talking about Spider-Man appearing in Captain America 4 all of a sudden? It turns out there might be a leak pointing to this scenario.

Marvel insider Alex Perez picked up what looked like an accidental reveal from a stunt double. That person might have listed themselves as Spider-Man for the upcoming Captain America 4 movie.

The deleted tweet showed a blurry computer screen where you could hardly tell anything.

But Perez says Brave New World might be too busy to have any room for Spider-Man.

I’d agree that we don’t need cameos just for the sake of cameos. However, I’ll also point out that recruiting Spider-Man again will be an interesting do-over considering that the Avengers don’t remember who he is. And what better place to do that than the massive event Captain America: Brave New World shapes up to be?

Danny Ramirez

Deepening the connection between Captain America: Brave New World and The Falcon And The Winter Soldier is Danny Ramirez, who made his MCU debut as Joaquín Torres on the Disney+ original series. Appearing in five of the six episodes, Torres has been established as an ally of Sam Wilson’s who serves as a liaison between the Avenger and the United States Air Force. In 2022, Ramirez starred as an ace fighter pilot alongside Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick, but we’ll have to wait and see if he gets a similar opportunity in his first Marvel blockbuster (his role in the film confirmed at D23 Expo 2022). In the comics, Torres takes on the mantle of Falcon, and fingers are crossed that the new Cap will pass on the title to his friend in the 2024 movie.

Why Captain America has to recruit new Avengers

Set to premiere next May, Brave New World is currently shooting. We’ve seen plenty of purported plot leaks, as well as some teasers from Marvel that tell us Sam will indeed create a new Avengers team in Captain America 4. He’ll need all the help he can get to fight a series of emerging threats in this post-Endgame world.

Thaddeus Thunderbolt Ross (Harrison Ford) is one of them, and we expect to see him become the Red Hulk in the Captain America sequel. But we’re going to have more villains than that, with the Serpent Society showing up.

Does Spider-Man have a place in all of this? He certainly does, and it’ll be interesting to see Sam Wilson recruit Peter Parker, especially considering he doesn’t remember who Spider-Man is.

What do the Avengers know about Spider-Man?

At the end of No Way Home, everyone in the main MCU timeline forgot that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. People have forgotten who Peter Parker is altogether. But the world knows there’s a Spider-Man. They remember fighting against him, as was Sam’s case in Civil War, as well as alongside Spidey in Infinity War and Endgame.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness made that much clear. The world knows there’s a Spider-Man superhero around, they just don’t know who he is. That’s to say that Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) didn’t erase Spider-Man completely, just his identity.

As for Peter, he knows and remembers everyone. Seeing him drop a comment about his previous encounter with Sam will be incredibly funny. And Sam would certainly remember his first fight with Spidey, even though he no longer knows who he is. That is if the two are to meet in Brave New World. So far, there’s no indication that Captain America 4 is the crossover.

In «The Incredible Hulk,» Stern was last seen mutating after Bruce Banner’s blood dripped and entered a cut on his forehead. The movie hinted at his change but didn’t show it. His transformation will likely be addressed when he returns as The Leader in «Brave New World.»

«The Leader is a man who operates from intellect, and so it’s great to have an adversary who is working with this incredible intellect to really put Sam through the wringer in this story,» Onah said during an interview with «Phase Zero» host Brandon Davis for ComicBook.com at D23.

«And again, as a paranoid thriller, it’s this grounded adventure where I think that everything that happens in this film feels so real and intense, because of who this adversary is,» the directors said, adding that Sam will be challenged because he’ll be facing «an adversary who is so terrifyingly intelligent.»

What is the Plot of «Captain America: Brave New World»?

Marvel, true to its style, has been tight-lipped about plot details. However, director Julius Onah described the film as a «paranoid thriller» during the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con. It is likely to draw inspiration from the acclaimed «Captain America: The Winter Soldier,» exploring themes of broken political systems and government distrust. Sam Wilson, now Captain America, is expected to confront a fascist conspiracy in this gripping chapter.

Harrison Ford will portray General Thaddeus «Thunderbolt» Ross, taking over the role from William Hurt. The history between Wilson and Ross, who imprisoned Wilson after he violated the Sokovia Accords in «Civil War,» is set to play a significant part in the film. After all, Ross and Wilson might have some bad blood between them, considering that Ross actually imprisoned Wilson and many of his pals during the events of Captain America: Civil War. He has been a thorn in Wilson’s side before, so it isn’t hard to picture him stirring up trouble as Wilson takes on Captain America’s mantle.

Captain America: Brave New World producer Nate Moore has already teased the potential conflict between Ross and Wilson. He told Collider:

Of course, while difficult, Ross hasn’t been an overt villain in the MCU. However, if Sterns influences him and the two embrace their inner Hulks, things could get pretty interesting.

Captain America 4 cast grows with a WWE wrestler

Tim Blake Nelson and Liv Tyler will reprise the roles of Samuel Sterns and Betty Ross, characters last seen in The Incredible Hulk. Sterns becomes a big-headed villain known as The Leader, and Betty is the daughter of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.

The latest new cast member is the WWE’s own Seth Rollins (whose real name is Colby Lopez). reports that Rollins looks as if he is a member of the villainous Serpent Society.

It’s unknown if Sebastian Stan will be back as Bucky Barnes, a.k.a the Winter Soldier. The two characters are both friends of Steve Rogers and developed their own partnership in the Disney Plus series. Bucky has been in every Captain America movie, however, so we would be surprised if he didn’t show up in this one.

Stan at least is very excited about Mackie’s ascension as Captain America, as he reacted positively to the casting news on Instagram:

There are also question marks about Emily VanCamp’s Sharon Carter, Wyatt Russell’s John Walker, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. The latter made a cameo in the post-credits scene of Black Widow and looks to figure into future movies.

Speaking of Falcon and Winter Soldier characters, Danny Ramirez is back as Joaquin Torres, and will take on the mantle of the Falcon. Carl Lumbly reprises the role of Isaiah Bradley.
